The Otis Fund

An annual online fundraiser taking place during Fat Bear Week, the Otis Fund - named after beloved bear #480 “Otis” - allows Katmai Conservancy to continue to provide critical support for Katmai National Park and Preserve.

We are beyond grateful.

Thanks to your amazing generosity, this year’s Otis Fund raised $430,000 for Katmai, and our friends at explore.org and Charlie Annenberg have matched it with an additional $470,000, bringing the total to an incredible $900,000!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who donated, watched, voted, and shared in the spirit of Fat Bear Week. Your support makes a real difference for Katmai’s bears, salmon, and wild landscapes. To Charlie and the explore.org team, your continued partnership and generosity help make all of this possible. Thank you!

Together, we’re keeping Katmai wild.
